The Lonely Tides Of Time

from Mile Wide Spaces (revised edition) by Jeg

/

about

This track's title began as part of J Rock Dingy Tunes Volume 1 on John's 4-track during 94/95. The tune is nothing like the original music.
When we played Good Morning live, it would go into an instrumental part where Burton would play a little melodic part and then we would exit the song with the end section of No Sense so I built the track around these themes. The lyric is about the loss of a best friend. We had spent a lot of time together doing music (John and I) but we had drifted once Soul Drive split. It was depressing to lose a friend when a band split but I suppose that's what happens.
