By the time 1999 had come in, I was busy writing a new album. I had a few bits of music lying around and a few new ideas. Ten songs which we rehearsed then recorded over a seven hour stretch(mix included) would form the body of Mile Wide Spaces album. These ten songs had a couple of gems but also had a load of scrap. The band had come to a point where recording would become more basic, more representative of our live performance and more raw. Here what you have is the definitive album to give a more realistic view of how in hindsight it should have been.
