about

Gatecrash commenced during probably one of the most trial-some times for each member of JMC. Derek broke his ankle which not only set him back in his health but also as you can imagine caused a blank spot on the JMC calendar. Almost simultaneously Nikki returned to his flat to find that it had suffered severe fire damage. Thankfully he'd been out and thankfully nothing of value was irretrievable, however he was unable to stay there until the damage was repaired. Burton was busy doing some work with the Mull Historical Society. I was amidst writing a new album. I recorded The Maker and Where Do We Go From Here? My life was suddenly on it's head, however I stormed on and recorded the rest of the album. The album was released on Casket/Copro. It received mixed views. It has two of my most ambitious tracks and is a great listen. Stop and The Maker.
